Already as a young woman, Inge Auerbacher visited many countries. She traveled to Afghanistan, Morocco and Sweden, among other places.
In 1966, she dared to go back to Germany and Theresienstadt for the first time. This changed her life once again.
"One day, when I saw a television program about a Czech woman who had survived the Theresienstadt concentration camp, I suddenly felt the need to visit the places of my childhood. The dormant volcano erupted."
