This first return to Theresienstadt and to Germany brought about a new turning point in Inge's life. She made the decision:
"My life could not be in vain. It was now my duty to raise my voice against prejudice and, going forward, to pursue a career on behalf of many innocent victims whom I had to represent."
As a contemporary witness, she has made countless appearances to this day, for example at schools or universities and other educational institutions.
