On the train ride from Kitzingen to Kleinlangheim, the train station of Wiesenbronn, Jakob was threatened by non-Jewish, older secondary school students. After the night of the pogrom, they had been given leave from school.
They found notebooks with Hebrew writing in his school bag. They tore them up and threw them out of the window. A train conductor stood protectively before Jacob and prevented the students from pushing him out of the moving train.
