“My first impressions in Hechingen always remained vivid in my memory. They were connected with the town and with my father; with the view upon the castle Hohenzollern, with the meeting house and the synagogue, and with music. I remembered my first years with warmth, and sometimes with homesickness. […] During my week in Hechingen, I was at home in both body and in mind. It was as if a circle had finally closed that had been incomplete, unfulfilled for all these years.”
On May 2, 2019, Ruth Solomon passed away surrounded by her family.
