We do not know when Thekla Schwarz, Trude’s mother, died at the camp Jungfernhof in Riga. Elias Schwarz had been seen alive by survivors at camp Kaiserwald at the end of 1944. Bertha Schwarz, Trude’s aunt, last saw her niece at camp Stutthof near Danzig in 1944.
Trude did not live to see the liberation.
Stumbling Stones were placed for her and her parents in Rexingen on November 26, 2011.
